Last night my grandpap somehow arranged for my uncle to get out of jail (no handcuffs or anything) for the night to go to his daughter’s viewing.
He held up, but had a rough time. The last letter his daughter wrote him was an angry one. He had a lot of guilt inside for not being around and he felt like he could have protected her from being sexually abused.
He had to be back at the jail...
In other, less depressing news, I’m heading to a meeting for Pittsburgh’s slutwalk tonight. Hopefully we’ll have a tentative date set for the actual walk.
