I always think it’s really funny when people say:

“Women who don’t shave are disgusting. You aren’t proving a point, you just look gross.”

Uhm…by saying that exact thing, you’re disproving your own argument. It’s still widely unaccepted for women to not shave and when they choose not to, they are subject to ridicule, insults, and comments about their personal life/sexuality. 

So yes, there are tons of reasons a person might not shave, but calling them disgusting and telling them that they should shave, is the exact reason not shaving actually can make a statement.
